Children

Abingdon United Methodist Church is a place for children to learn about Jesus and how to live as his disciples. A committed team of staff and volunteers is ready to welcome your child to our classes and activities.

Our children meet for Children’s Church at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday’s.

Youth

Middle School and High School can be challenging years for young people and their families. Abingdon United Methodist Church’s youth ministry is here to help you navigate this season. Our staff and volunteers work hard to cultivate a ministry that can give youth a firm foundation amid the changes life brings. Your student will grow in Christ through Bible study, fellowship, retreats, and many other activities.

Music

Music lifts our spirits and is a vehicle for the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives. We love to make music at Abingdon United Methodist Church.

Our choir practices at 7:00 on Wednesday nights and sings most Sunday’s at the 11:00 worship service.

You are most welcome to join the choir, handbells, or one of our other ensembles.

Service

We follow the example of Jesus who came not to be served but to serve. Love and service naturally overflow from worship into our daily living.
